My name is Kirsten, I am a Multidisciplinary Designer, Illustrator, & Printmaker from San Diego, CA with a constant itch to move around and explore the world; I guess you could say I'm a creative nomad enjoying the places, projects, and people that I cross paths with.

I picked up traditional printing techniques such as linocut and screenprinting after graduating with my B.F.A. in Graphic Design; traditional printing saved my soul after the grinding for my B.F.A. To my core I believe there will always be something that hand-made work will provide that digital and Ai won't be able to (as much as some will try). With that, I know I will always have a curiosity to explore and mix traditional techniques with growing modern tools as well.

In the cracks of spare time I am bringing client's visions to life, creating for my online store K10 DESIGN +, picking up the insides of toys my doxie Luca obliterates, pushing through the last year M.F.A in Illustration (*please reach out for password!), and trying to get some sun like the house plant that I am.

Whether it’s sharing music with friends or reading the latest moon chart, I am constantly inspired by life experiences, the cosmos, travel, and having a mixed cultural perspective. As a Mexican-American artist I venture to create relatable portrayals of the feminine, mystical, and cultural influences in my life with a dab of wit and humor for those with a no B.S. attitude.
